The need to convey built environment is centuries old. Architectural representation – in its myriad forms – is a challenge and a chance for each generation to develop a new language which captures the zeitgeist, uses latest technology, inspires audiences and also details the specifics of a project.
Neutral, as an innovator in the field of moving image and interactive design for architecture, introduces the new artistic and technologically innovative standard:
Convergent 3D Architecture Apps
Commissioned by the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and Herzog & de Meuron to produce an animation, Neutral expanded the reach of traditional media with the simultaneous production of a 3D website and a 3D app for iOS and Android.
Exploring the much anticipated new concert hall by Herzog & de Meuron, the collection of apps presented here aptly demonstrates the convergence of media. Users experience the spaces as they build up to the Grand Hall with its exceptional design and superlative acoustic capabilities. The novel 3D technique developed by Neutral expands traditional architectural narrative, transposing the user into future spaces, giving architects new possibilities for articulating visions long before they become reality.
