Lufthansa’s flagship A380 takes off with Neutral designs on board.

The launch of Lufthansa’s A380 in June 2010 sees the culmination of the long-term cooperation with Neutral on designs for their Inflight Entertainment Systems. The Panasonic hardware has been given a new contemporary look in all classes, including versions for touch screen and handset navigation.

The innovative designs incorporate transparent overlays and animated graphics as well as movie preview clips. Audio and video on demand are being complemented by a multitude of other engaging features like personal playlists, interactive destination guides and maps to follow flight progress.

Available in 8 languages including Arabic, Japanese and Chinese, the system underwent thorough user experience tests before being fully deployed on the Lufthansa A380 fleet, marking a new chapter in the global carrier’s history.
