VR at the core of Panasonic’s NEXT Campaign

Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic) commissioned us to create a Virtual Reality experience to launch their NEXT In-Flight Entertainment and Communications (IFEC) platform – the company’s newest and most powerful IFEC solution yet. Our ten-year relationship coupled with an architectural visualisation background and VR experience made Neutral Digital the perfect choice to help Panasonic deliver this experience.

‘In our industry, we can have significant lead times between the concept for a technology platform and its implementation. Our challenge to Neutral Digital was to visualise our vision for the In-Flight Entertainment and Communications experience, NEXT. Neutral Digital has delivered an engaging virtual reality experience that conveys to our customers how NEXT will shape the passengers’ connected journey of the future. The highly-portable kits allow us to use the experience at events and trade shows around the world’

– Matthias Walther, Panasonic Avionics

Panasonic Next VR

To launch the innovative NEXT system, Panasonic required immersive and memorable content. This VR experience is not only being used at events and trade shows for clients all around the world, but also as an airline sales tool. The experience details how Panasonic’s products seamlessly integrate into the passenger’s journey.

Flying has become more than the time you spend on the plane. Panasonic’s NEXT approaches flying as an all-encompassing experience including the time before, during and after the flight. To convey this, we created a journey with four main virtual reality environments – a home, Economy class, Business class and a hotel room. The experience portrays Panasonic’s revolutionary in-flight entertainment digital ecosystem in these passenger-centric environments, including their value-added services, tools, applications and partnerships.
