SAS: celebrating national days across Scandinavia

Neutral Digital created a series of high-impact CGI exterior visuals for SAS, celebrating Sweden, Denmark, and Norway’s national days with cinematic aircraft imagery that blends national pride and brand storytelling.

Task

To create a series of CGI exterior animations featuring SAS aircraft paired with national flags, designed to celebrate Scandinavian national days across social media platforms.

Celebrating Scandinavia through cinematic visuals.

In June 2025, SAS marked a series of Scandinavian national days — Sweden’s National Day, Denmark’s Constitution Day, and Norway’s Constitution Day — with a cohesive and visually striking social media campaign.

Neutral Digital was commissioned to produce a series of CGI exterior visuals, designed to bring each celebration to life through dynamic aircraft imagery and national symbolism.

We created a series of high-impact, cinematic CGI videos featuring SAS aircraft flying alongside each country’s national flag, set against carefully selected landscapes unique to Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.

Each animation was tailored for social media, optimised for shareability and visual impact — combining subtle motion, smooth camera movement, and sky backdrops that reflected the specific geography requested by the client.

Crafting CGI for culturally significant moments.

SAS shared the visuals across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels, each paired with country-specific messages. The campaign received strong engagement and positive sentiment — resonating with both local audiences and the wider Scandinavian diaspora.

The result was a cohesive, brand-aligned celebration of Scandinavian unity and identity — told visually through CGI that balances emotion, national pride, and aviation elegance.
